Dysmorphia is a comic portraying the relationship between outside/inside, and what is actually real.

The comic displays some everyday events for a person with Body dysmorphic disorder. I wanted to show the disturbing transformations that happen inside the head of someone with this disorder. How things go from looking totally normal, to suddenly merge into something disgusting and extremely overpowering for the subject. Until it becomes almost unbearing and the image in your head takes over completely.

With the black and white colour scheme I wanted to show the daunting, colourless world this can be for some people and with the accents of the 3D magenta and cyan I wished to emphasize the overwhelming, almost pulsating conviction of the person when in this state, followed by total emptiness.
